Defeats the purpose of having a reservation. It is not my fault that I had reservations, but the hotel decided to 'let them stay another night'. After 30 minutes of debating with the clerk, I was finally offered a king room in the tower (no smoking) at no additional cost. Upon arrival I was told that our room was not available because some guests decided to extend their stay, and I could be 'upgraded' to a double queen at the inn for no additional cost. Since it was a special occasion.I booked the room at $149.
I did ask about a reduced rate, since we are long time patrons, and was told no. We booked a king smoking room at The Inn. We booked a room for our 10th wedding anniversary on June 15th. On average we would go once a month to gamble, and occasionally stay in the hotel.
My husband and I have been going to Choctaw Durant since it was a tent, which has been at least 8 years.
